Raya~

Sorry for not updating my blog recently, I've been busy. At home and also at work. Its Thursday, and I'll be driving back to JB the day after tomorrow..really cant wait to go back home xD I miss my family and home cooked meals. I also need to check up on my pc. My bro's being using it for 3 months already since I borrowed my dad's lappy to do office work. Previously, trainees (including me) were given 'antiques' to do office work..Celeron 500 pcs wif WinNT os..how the heck do they expect me to work?? So i thought i'd better be off with my dad's lappy. At least its a PentiumM 1.3ghz wif WinXP..but i still feel the lack of memory though..256mb isn't enough.. Maybe later I'll upgrade the rams, but i don't think its worth it since I'll only be using it for not more than another 3 months.. I'd better save the money to upgrade my pc next year..need a new gc and monitor..my current 6600gt is not powerful enough to play the latest games, and my old monitor was..err..sold by my bro.. *sigh* Nevermind, i think I'll force him to pay for my future 19" widescreen lcd.wahahaha!!

Hurm, back to the raya topic, I'll be going back on saturday morning, probably starting my journey after sahur or subuh. I dont want to get caught in heavy traffic, especially along the plus highway stretch near Seremban. That's why i planned to leave early..lets just hope i can wake up in time =P I have a bad habbit of extending my sleep, even on work days. Alarm was set at 6:30am..but i only wake up at 7:45. sometimes even at 8:15 like this morning.lol. After the alarm rang i usually turn it off, and then turn on the radio and lights..just to keep me half-awake :p I can get ready for work in 30 mins time, and time taken to drive from house to the office is only 5~10 mins. So I'll never be late for work :p Trisys even offers flexibility to the staff, where they can come in at any time between 8:30 to 9:00. (Those who come at 8:30 can go home at 5:30pm, and those who come at 9am can go at 6pm). During this fasting month, they can even come at 8am to go back early at 5pm.

Hurm, this year the family will be going to my dad's kampung in spg renggam..same as last year.. -_-" Well, that's how things are supposed to be.. My dad taught me that children need to listen to their mother, except daughters who is already married. These daughters/wives need to listen to their husband first, then only listen to their parents. Some people deny this, saying that its not fair.. But for me, after thinking much about it, i agree with my dad. But honestly i don't like it much at spg renggam..there's nothing much to do rather than sitting and watching tv and sleep. I don't know much of my dad's relatives, and there's no one of my same generation or age to talk to..
I really miss going to my tok mummy's in pasir mas..a couple of months back my uncle (mum's youngest brother) got married, and the were lots of renovations and changes to tok mummy's house, but i didn't get the chance to go coz of work..haih..maybe later i'll hitch a ride wif kupunk to go to pasir mas, but dunno when..

Finally, I would like to wish Selamat Hari Raya to muslims and Happy Deepavali to Indians. :D

Decisions..decisions..

11AM at the office, and i have nothing to do..just finished a task that was given to me on monday =) its wasn't much of a task actually, but at least i have something to do rather than surfing the internet the whole day reading people's blogs, browsing forums, reading articles, etc2. Today is the last day of my 19th week of industrial training at trisys..13 more to go..19 weeks seem like a long time, but i think that its still not enough to learn and gain experience. There's much more to learn..but so little time.. I'm grateful to UTP and trisys for giving me the chance to learn (and earn :p) much for 32 weeks, and I'll plan make the best out of it. Imagine the other universities who send their students to train for only 2~5 months..nothing much to learn in that period.

12th January 2007 will be the last day of internship here, and a week after that i'll start a new semester as a final year student. FYP...haih..haven't thought much of it yet..haven't decided which majoring i want to take also..most probably it'll be computer systems, coz that's what interests me most among the other majoring choices. Some seniors also say that its the easiest and relaxing among other ee majoring options. What we learn in the university does NOT definitely determine our career paths. When it comes to career, i believe that the passion and determination to gain experience is important. I've seen a non-engineering student become a engineer in this company. In fact, a Lead Engineer, cum Head of Technical Unit (guess who). She did her training in trisys doing databases years ago (coz she was an IT student), and now, she's a lead engineer..

Isk sejuk gile..sape la pasang aircon sejuk sgt nih..da ler aku nih xde lemak..-_-" Hurm, hari slase y baru lepas cuti bersempena nuzul al-quran, dan aku telah menghabiskan duit utk kereta lagi..rm400 for a stainless steel s-flow muffler..tatau ar..taukey kedai tu pukau aku kot.kupunk pon same kene pukau kot..hurm,performance increase xde la rase sgt..but i like the sound. xde la bising cam ah beng. idling silent, and kalu rev pon bunyi dia low pitch..bukan rumbling..tapi cam solid..cam bunyi stock exhaust perdana v6 (aunty aku ader sebijik), but lagi sporty.kat dalam kereta kalau tutup tingkap, normal driving rev xde dengar bunyi..and kalu rev tinggi pon, bunyi exhaust lebeh kurg same bising ngan bunyi engine..hurm, guess i paid more for the silence..and durability..btul la org kate, dlm exhaust system, muffler xde efek sgt kepade performance..its more for the looks and sound..hurm, lepas ni aku plan nk tuka stainless steel piping, and that's it.enough utk exhaust system..going for intake system and handling after this :D

thursday nite..malam jumaat..

Baru je abis buke pose..tp tu pon mkn kurma ngan soup je..sbb aunty ngan uncle 2-2 blom balik.Slalunyer dorg yang akan beli lauk utk berbuka, tapi harini 2-2 balik lambat..haih..bukannye nak bagitau awal2..kalu x boleh aku gi bli lauk.cian kitorg bertiga kat umah ni..tp syukur gak lagi 2 org kazen aku ni pompuan.dorg masak soup sementare menunggu papa dorg balik bawak lauk..soup tu pon dimasak bile azan dah berkumandang..mane tak nye, uncle aku call 5 minit before buke, kate y dia balik lambat..si unclenye ingatkn aunty dah balik bli lauk, dan si auntynya pula sebaliknya, ingat si uncle da balik bli lauk..lol

eh, nak mandi ngan solat jap..later aku sambung ah..ade kisah yang ingin diceritakan.chow~

Dunno what title to put..

Ever wondered why nothing is free in this world? If only i can grow money from a tree, but that's just foolish. Money makes the world the way it is. If everything is free, no one will work and we wont achieve the current level of technology and development. Well, i wish that everything is free only for me..but that's not fair isn't it? *sigh* Money makes ppl greedy, and like the saying goes, "orang tamak selalu rugi". So the more money you have, the greedier you get, and the more you will loose. :p Ever heard of "Money is the root of all evil"?. I believe that saying is true. When blinded by money, ppl will resort to anything to get it. Be it cheating, conning, stealing, or even killing. Ppl will even betray their close friends and loved ones for money. Some ppl also say that "Money can't buy happiness", but how true is this? I leave that for you guys to answer..

Last weekend didn't go as planned. Went to chop shops but didn't find a rim suitable to my taste. There was one set of 14" wheels which were within my budget, but the design wasn't  very nice. Raya is coming, and lots of other ppl have already got their hands on the nicer rims..i was just plain unlucky. So I think its best if i postpone the rims till next year. At least i can save more for better rims and tyres :D

Isk lapaunyer..mlm td aku sahur minum air je. Bukannye xde makanan dlm peti tu, tapi aku malas. Malas nk panaskan lauk, malas nk bakar roti, malas segale2nyer. Kat opis ni pon malas..bukannye xde keje, tapi nak kene tunggu Kak Alin confirmkan certain details first baru aku leh proceed ngan keje aku..malas btul la menunggu ni. Aku rase sepanjang aku kat opis ni, most of the time aku hanye menunggu. Tunggu orang bagi task, tunggu orang abis meeting, tunggu orang confirmkan details, tunggu orang angkat phone, tunggu printer queue, tunggu mesin photocopy kosong, dan tunggu mase untuk pulang. Awal2 dulu semangat la aku buat kerje, tapi skg dah malas da, sebab banyak menunggu. Kerja yang boleh siap dalam mase dua atau tiga jam, di extend jadi sehari sebab terpakse menunggu. haih...

Hurm, lunch hour ni aku nk gi jejalan kat shah alam. nak kene gi deposit cash kat bcb branch sebab kelmarin aku terlebih withdraw duit -_-" sambil tu bole la shopping ape2 ker..alang2 tgh bosan ekeke...

Plans for the weekend..and memories from the past

Friday, the last working day of the week. I'm looking forward to this weekend coz tomorrow I'll go hunting rims with zerc around kota kemuning and puchong. I was supposed to go with kupunk, but he had other plans..his mum asked him to return home for buka puasa. Never mind, coz i think zerc knows more chop shops than kupunk.hehe..

I'm gonna look around for bargain rims, prolly around rm400~500 only coz i have other plans wif my money.not to forget that i need a new set of tyres too.i think I'll be getting a set of door panels as well for my jfx. I dont like the current ones..its a standard 1.3 door panel, wif no speaker cover, no paper slot (did i get the name right?), uncomfortable arm rest, and manual windows. *sigh*

Mirage door panels cost around rm250~450 including the power window motor, but i think i'd rather get a satria 1.6 door panel which costs less. jemang said he got his 1.6 door panel for slightly below rm200 for everything including installation. lets just hope I'll get lucky tomorrow..

The set of wheels might cost around 1k or more..so i dont think i'll be getting anything else..need to reconfigure revise my budget for these next 3 months..and i even owe zerc rm180 for servicing my car.actually its his bro who did the servicing, but zerc had to forward his money first coz at that time the scholarship money wasn't in yet.ekekeke

Tomorrow night I plan to buka puasa at McD with buse and the other guys, but it is yet to be confirmed. Need to find more ppl to join..the more the merrier.hehe.this will be my first McD buffet for this year..lets just hope something bad wont happen like last year.. -_-"

Ah, regarding last year's incident, or should i put it accident, it was a first time for me.i was seating in the co-driver's seat, and i saw it coming but was unable to do anything..only during the last few moments did i close my eyes and look away, praying to God so i can live to see another day.The impact was heart stopping,and the sound was ear piercing.lucky i had my seatbelt buckled that night..okay enuff wif that story.i dont wanna think about it much..or else i will be reverted back to that trauma state..

and i learnt one lesson that night, never ride in a car that's driven by kantam.lol :p

Hurm, skg dah kul 10:36, 2 jam since aku post blog y sebelum ni..nampak sgt la y aku ni xde keje nak wat kat opis..ish3..tolonglah memane engineer TSE y terbace blog aku ni, bagi la aku ape2 task.wat i/o list ker, mapping list ker, logic programming ker, photocopying docs pon pon bole..itu pon kalu ader engineer y bace..

haa, kak suzi tgh nak update n rectify final docs kat sebelah aku ni, moge2 nanti dia panggil aku utk tolong de..erm, kak suzi merupakan document control exec dlm tse nih.fyi, tse or trisystems engineering is under trisystems corp. ader byk lg sub-companies cthnyer tfp,tic,tis,tsc, dan tt..

walaupun begitu,dlm trisys ni pon terbahagi kepade beberape department y aku ragui berade dlm sub-company ape, iaitu department sales,csd,procurement,logistics,dll.sales department ni tugasnyer mendapatkan pojek dari klien2.aku pon x sure derg wat keje ape, but its up to their potential and skills to win a project and defeat our competitors. lepas sales dah confirm dapat projek, baru la derg bagi kat dept aku, which is the project department. what we do is design projects specs (both software n hardware),fabricate the systems, and also testing. biler project tersebut dah complete (dah pass all the test, dan also commisioning), dlm tempoh 2 taun lepas tu project tersebut akan di handover kepade department csd.kirenyer dorg ni jadi cam maintenance guys la, but they also do upgrading of existing systems. (demmit tetibe perut aku bunyi lagi..)

haa, dalam mase projek2 ni semua berjalan,procurement procurement adelah dept yang akan contact vendors utk order all the stuff n materials needed for the project.dorg juge keep track of our inventory. then ader pule departmen logistics yang handle shipping barang2 dari vendor dan juge ke klien..(i think la..not so sure..) so basically trisys is a large company where all the departments in it work together to gain profit.

dan disini ingin aku berbangge bahawa tse (project) merupakan departmen yang paling byk menyumbang income kepade kampeni.yeay..mane x nyer..satu pojek kecik bernilai 1mil++.kalu projek besar, makin besar la nombo dier.projek pon bukannyer sikit..and ade juge engineer yang super bz sebab involved dlm multiple projects..(tapi tu pon xde sesiape nak bg task kat aku..)

aku kagum ngan kesungguhan Tech Unit Head aku, sebab aku nampak dia involved dlm semua project.task distribution dia y buat, technical docs dia y check, technical meeting dia pergi,so i see that almost everything dia handle.. (erk bos besar baru je lalu depan cubicle aku ni..kekeke :p ) memang dedicated giler ar kat career..umah kat gombak..smpi opis kul 7 lebeh..balek kul 7 lebeh gak..hoho, tapi beliau merupakan seorang wanita y still single.hurm, aku rase nnt dia mesti kaye super..da ler single,career mantap, sure kawen nnt mesti ngan org y educated n berjaye..haa, nak gosip sket pasal de ar, aritu mase aku bli mknn utk dinner di kedai makan y berhampiran ngan opis (dan juge kedai makan paling dekat ngan umah aunty aku), aku jumpe dia tgh berduaan ngan seorang lelaki di kedai tersebut.time tu before puase lg,n aku dah lapar super sebab aunty aku sekeluarge xde kat umah utk masak or beli mknn.tp biler aku nampak de, aku pon x jadi nk mkn kat ctu, so aku tapau jek.hurm, tatau la itu klien ker, vendor ker, or someone special in her life.kekekeke

Pagi yang bosan..

Erm..dah sampai ofis da..tepat kul 8:09 pagi tadi.sampai2 opis cam bese la aku surfing2, chatting2, dll.erk..tetibe perutku berbunyi..x makan sahur pagi tadi..tapi smlm makan buffet kat concorde hotel, dibelanje oleh vendor.xde la best sgt mkn hotel tu, tapi disebabkan buffet free, and lantak la manyak2.ekekeke..kalu x dibelanje, xde nyer aku nak gi bayar RM58 utk makan buffet y x seberape tuh.bek makan buffet kat MCD ker, Hartz ker, Uncle Don's ker..sumer dalam lingkungan RM20.
hurm, ader la sorg member mintak aku banjer buffet kat hotel besday dia nnt, but i told her that aku rase x berbaloi...lebih baik aku bagi something yang non-consumable, at least bende tu dia boleh gune sampai bile2..well, kalu bende tu consumable pon at least biar la tahan lame sket..that's what i think la, so kepade sesiape yang nak bagi adiah utk besday aku bulan depan (5th November), sile la bagi sumthing yang boleh aku gune..erm, ni list birthday wishlist aku:

1. CK Crave (da xde in production..susa nk cari..but task ni aku da bg kat gf aku suh carikan) :p
2. Wallet (i prefer fabric material, not leather..tapi kalu leather-CF wallet dari R3 tu bole gak :D )
3. Gundams (wahaha dah lame x bli n pasang gundam..huhu, i want an EX-S MG or a GP-01Fb ~~)
4. Kasut futsal (hoho aku ade hobi baru skg.. :p )
5. Laptop (harapan je la nak dapat ni..tapi kalu ade sesiape yang mulia sgt hati dia, aku nak laptop wif a 17" widescreen LCD, built in graphics which is suitable for gaming, 1MB of RAM, and powered by C2D =D )

Okeh, dah xde idea da nk tulis ape..eh2 jap, da datang da idea. Weekend ni aku ade plan..nak go rims hunting~!~! kepade sesiape yang tau katner kedai2 potong y ader rim yang cun dan murah sekitar shah alam, sile la bagi sedikit info yek.thanks~! tak sabar rasenyer nak bli rim sbb duit scholar dah masuk. Dulu dah pergi usha sane, usha sini, tapi xde duit..tgk2 rim y aku berkenan dulu tu dah terjual... =(

Blogging?

Hurm, dah berape lame tah aku x blogging nih.before this ader la satu blog, tp cam dah obsolete jek, so aku pon delete la blog aku y lame tu ekekeke :p skg kul 11:00PM, dan tarikhnya pula 4 Oktober 2006. And as usual, i have NBTD...

Bosan ar, kat umah NBTD, kat opis pon skg NBTD..well, sebenarnyer aku diassign utk assist sorg engineer dlm satu pojek y kecik je, n skg ni tgh design phase. so basically ape y engineer tu wat skg is designing the system la, aku ni hanyelah seorang trainee y masih menuntut dan xde ape2 cert, mane la layak design system tersebut..system pon kecik je, dia leh wat sorg2..
Aku pnah tolong beliau skali je iaitu utk documentation, n that was selepas Tech Unit Head assign aku kepade beliau. That time aku jumpe engineer tu, and told him that i was assigned the project, and said that he could ask for my assistance anytime needed. He said fine, and then gave me my first (and only) task.lepas tu dia dah xde nk jumpe aku bg task lain..so sbb tu la aku kat opis xde keje..
Aku ni jenis cam tukul ngan paku, kene diarah baru nak wat, but i get the work done efficiently..and 1 more thing,aku malas nak gi tpt dia utk tanye ade ape2 yang perlu aku buat ker..sebab dia duduk 'agak' jauh..kalu kire jarak, baru dalam 5 meter, tapi nak kire perjalanan ke tpt de tu...ade la dalam 10 meter.. :p (wahaha malas giler aku nih)

lol..xpe2 lepas designing phase ni, masuk fabrication phase, n then testing phase.phase2 ni yang best nyer sebab ader hardware work.tolong contractor construct cabinet, pasang wiring, dll. lepas tu lak testing phase..lg bes sebab bleh men2 measuring equipments :p well, at least aku ade la keje nak wat drp duk je kat opis tu...dtg keje, surfing goyang kaki, pastu dibayar gaji buta.ish3..tamo la makan gaji buta..rase guilty..

erm, dah 20 minit da aku tulis blog ni..sebenarnye ade lg bende nk tulis nih, tapi nanti2 la.esok kat opis sure aku xde keje lagi, nnt aku tulis lg.ekekekeke.
